2. Review the specification
Provide artwork, opening preferences and a contents list. Confirm the proposed primary pack, outer box, insert and material records required for the project.
3. Confirm quotation details
Review unit price, tooling, sample charges, packing and the proposed schedule. Clarify included services and freight arrangements before accepting the quotation.
4. Approve the sample
Agree the sample type and review criteria. Check dimensions, product access, artwork and finish with representative contents. Retain the approved reference and record changes.
5. Agree production and inspection
Confirm the final specification, artwork version and inspection criteria. Agree any handling or performance checks needed for the intended use before production.
6. Plan packing and delivery
Confirm supplied format, carton quantities, dimensions and freight terms for the destination. Keep production and shipping schedules separate.
7. Retain the reorder reference
Keep the approved specification and artwork for future discussions with Eastpkg®. Identify changes in tea format, contents, quantity or destination before confirming reorder terms.

Options & Materials
Specify materials for the complete tea pack
Distinguish the sealed primary pack from its outer box and review each component against its intended use.
Surface finishes and sample review

Mark the printed and decorative areas on the artwork. Review the proposed paper, coating and finish together on a sample. If any part may contact tea directly, include that use in the material assessment rather than relying on the outer box appearance.
Printing and artwork versions

Supply logos, color references and the layout for each tea variety or set. Identify changing product names and any details that must align with foil or raised decoration. Confirm the printing method for the selected surface and retain the approved artwork version.
Different Paperboard Options for Packaging

Request the board grade, wrap, coatings and adhesive details for the proposed box. Identify whether it holds loose tea directly or contains sealed packs. Certification, recycled-content and food-contact claims need documents for the selected construction and intended market.
Outer shipping pack

Share packed weight, box quantities and the intended route. Review the outer carton separately from the presentation box and agree handling checks with representative packed products. Confirm any stacking and storage requirements in the specification.
Rigid tea gift box construction

Define the opening, lid clearance and insert around the sealed tea packs or containers. Review product access and the finished layout on a physical sample. Confirm the materials and closure available for the project rather than treating a design reference as a production specification.
Specialty paper and wrap

Compare color and texture on the proposed wrap, including how printed or decorative details appear. Request evidence for specific material claims and consider the complete pack when preparing destination-specific disposal guidance.
Dividers and inserts

List every tea pack, tin or accessory with its dimensions and weight. Review compartment spacing, loading and removal with representative contents. Confirm insert materials and any intended food contact, then agree sample and handling criteria.
Loose Leaf Tea: Separate Storage from Presentation

Explain how the loose leaf tea is sealed before it enters the outer box. If the proposed container contacts tea directly, specify the intended contact time and storage conditions and request the relevant material documentation. An outer presentation box is not evidence of an airtight or moisture barrier.
Any freshness or shelf-life claim needs evidence for the tea and complete packaging system. Confirm the primary container, closure and validation requirements separately from the decorative outer box.
Tea Boxes with Dividers: Plan Each Compartment

Use a divider layout to identify the space for each sealed tea pack or container. Review access, labels and the removal sequence with the complete set. Keep the primary packaging responsible for any specified aroma or moisture barrier; a divider alone does not establish separation of scents.
Confirm the divider, board, wrap and adhesive details. Assess material and disposal claims for the actual construction and destination market.
Tea Gift Sets: Review the Lining and Contents

Prepare a contents list for the proposed gift set, including tea packs, containers, cards and accessories. Review the insert and any lining around those contents. Confirm the lining material, retention method and contact requirements rather than assuming a velvet appearance proves a particular fabric or protective function.
Provide artwork and decorative references, then approve the opening, fit and finish on a physical sample.
Wholesale Tea Packaging: Quantities and Pack-Out

Share quantities by tea variety, box size and gift set combination. Identify what changes between versions and ask whether a shared outer format with different inserts or artwork is practical.
Confirm minimum quantities, tooling and sample costs, assembly, outer-carton quantities and shipping arrangements in the quotation. Keep sample approval, production and freight dates separate when discussing a launch.
