Cosmetic Packaging: Boxes, Bags and Set Planning
Eastpkg® combines production and supply chain management for B2B packaging projects. Start a cosmetic packaging project with the products that go inside: bottles, jars, compacts or a complete set. Review the opening, insert and outer dimensions together before selecting decorative finishes.
Use the options below to compare formats and prepare your requirements. Confirm the available construction, materials and production scope for your project; a design reference is not a finished product specification.
Prepare a beauty packaging brief with the filled bottle or jar dimensions, closures, SKU quantities and delivery destination. Confirm product fit and the complete material construction before approving the outer packaging.

How to Order
Custom Cosmetic Packaging Boxes?
1. Send the product brief
Use the website quotation form to share product dimensions, filled weights, quantities and destination. Identify any launch deadline and the decisions you need help reviewing.
2. Review the proposed specification
Provide artwork and references for the opening, insert, material and finish. Confirm which options are available for the project and what additional files or product samples are needed.
3. Confirm quotation details
Review unit price, tooling, sample charges, packing and the proposed schedule. Clarify which services and freight arrangements are included before accepting the quotation.
4. Approve the sample
Agree the sample type and review criteria. Check product fit, opening, artwork and finish with representative contents. Record approved changes and retain the agreed reference.
5. Agree production and inspection
Confirm the final specification, artwork version and inspection criteria. Agree any handling tests and the process for reviewing issues before dispatch.
6. Plan packing and delivery
Confirm carton quantities, dimensions, destination and freight terms. Keep production and shipping dates separate, and agree the outer packing for the intended route.
7. Keep a reorder reference
Retain the approved specification and artwork version for future discussions with Eastpkg®. For reorders, identify any changes in contents, quantity, finish or destination before confirming new terms.

Options & Materials
Specify the material and finish together
Compare the options against product fit, artwork, handling and the documents needed for your destination market.
Surface finishes and sample review

Provide a physical reference or artwork showing the areas intended for foil, embossing, coating or another finish. Review the proposed combination on the selected paper or wrap. Confirm appearance and any agreed handling checks on an approved sample.
Printing and artwork preparation

Supply editable artwork, color references and the panel layout. Identify fine lettering, small logos and any alignment with foil or raised detail. Confirm the printing method for the proposed material and quantity, then approve the sample and final artwork version.
Different Paperboard Options for Packaging

Specify the board grade, thickness and surface requirements for the proposed construction. Ask for the relevant material records rather than choosing by a paper name alone. Kraft appearance or recycled fiber does not establish the environmental performance of the complete pack.
Corrugated outer packaging

Discuss the shipping pack separately from the cosmetic presentation box. Provide filled weight, carton quantity and the intended route. Agree the proposed corrugated construction and handling checks with the packed products; do not infer shipping protection from appearance.
Rigid box construction and fit

Review the board, wrap, closure and insert as a complete construction. Check panel alignment, lid clearance and product removal on a physical sample. Confirm the materials available for the project before treating a design image as evidence of a particular construction.
Specialty paper and wrap selection

Compare color, texture and decorative effects on the proposed paper or wrap. Check how print and finishing work on that surface. Request evidence for any certification or recycled-content claim, and assess disposal guidance for the complete pack in its destination market.
Tray and insert planning

List every item, its filled dimensions, weight and orientation. Review spacing, cap clearance, loading and removal with representative contents. Confirm the insert material and retention method, then agree suitable handling checks for the complete packed set.
When to consider a cosmetic rigid box
Presentation and opening
Describe how the customer should open the box and reach the product. Include any card, booklet or accessory in the layout brief.
Fit and handling
Supply filled bottle, jar or compact dimensions. Check the insert and closure with representative contents, and agree handling criteria for the intended distribution route.
Artwork and finish
Identify printed areas, color references and decorative details. Approve the combination on the specified wrap and keep the artwork version with the signed-off sample.
Pack-out
Confirm whether the proposed box arrives assembled or needs assembly at the filling site. Include outer packing, storage and handling in the quotation discussion.

Contents and carrying
List the boxed products a bag needs to carry, including combined weight and dimensions. Confirm handle construction, loading method and sample checks.
Material evidence
Request the bag, handle, adhesive and finish details. Recycled content, certification or reuse claims need evidence for the selected specification.
Gift and retail use
Provide artwork and describe whether the bag accompanies a retail purchase or a prepared gift set. Confirm size and product access with the contents in place.
Ordering
Confirm minimum quantity, printing, packing and delivery terms for the selected bag. Do not assume one design or material suits every load or market.

Bring product fit, brand artwork and material evidence into the same review. A clear brief helps identify what needs a physical sample, a document check or a quotation decision.
