Custom Packaging Services: Define Your Project Scope
Eastpkg® combines production and supply chain management for B2B packaging projects. Begin with the product, its packing process and the decisions your sample needs to support. Explore rigid box constructions or prepare a brief for your selected format.
Use the areas below to define responsibilities, deliverables and approval points. Confirm what is included in the quotation and which items need separate agreement.
Share product dimensions, filled weight, artwork and design references. Agree which drawings or sample files are needed for the proposed construction.
- Product fit and opening requirements
- Material and finish specification
- Artwork versions and color references
- Sample type, fees and approval criteria
Confirm the proposed production and sourcing scope for the selected materials and construction. Record the approved specification before ordering.
- Quantities by size or SKU
- Agreed material documentation
- Inspection criteria and any required tests
- Approval milestones and proposed schedule
Share the destination and intended distribution route. Agree packing, freight responsibilities and the relevant charges rather than assuming an all-inclusive logistics service.
- Assembled or flat supply format
- Outer carton quantities and dimensions
- Proposed shipping method and terms
- Separate production and transit schedules
Define the packing and opening experience first. Include every product, accessory and printed card in the brief, then check the complete arrangement on a sample.
Discuss the presentation box and shipping pack separately. Confirm the insert, closure and handling checks for the intended route. A rigid appearance alone does not demonstrate protection or a reduced damage rate.
Request material records for the proposed components and use. Certification, recycled-content and disposal claims need relevant evidence; supplier descriptions alone do not establish the performance of the complete pack.

Agree the scope and approval points in writing. Keep unresolved specification, sample or commercial questions visible before production.
Step 1
Consultation
Share product dimensions, filled weight, quantities, destination and the required arrival date. Identify the decisions you need help reviewing.
Step 2
Design & Prototyping
Provide artwork and references. Agree the proposed construction and the drawings or sample method required; confirm any design work included in the quotation.

Step 3
Sampling
Confirm the sample type, materials, fees and timing. Review fit, opening, artwork and finish, recording any differences from the intended production pack.
Step 4
Production
Confirm the final specification, artwork version, inspection criteria and schedule. Agree any required tests or review points before production.
Step 5
Delivery
Confirm supplied format, outer packing, carton quantities and freight terms. Keep production and transit dates separate and agree the available shipment information.
