Description
Pie Packaging Box: Dish Support and Lid Clearance
Specify the pie together with its tin, dish or supporting board. The rim and base can set different dimensions, while crusts and toppings determine lid clearance. A useful packaging brief records the complete filled unit and how it will be packed, carried and removed.
Measure the Pie, Dish and Board
Provide the outside diameter or length and width at the widest point, the base size, filled height and packed weight. State whether the pie stays in its baking dish and whether that dish has a projecting rim or handles.
Review usable internal dimensions rather than relying on an external box measurement. Check room around the rim and above toppings, and describe how staff or customers will lift the dish from the carton.
Review Base Support and Opening Access
Share the intended loading sequence and discuss the proposed base, closure and any locating component. Review support with a representative filled dish, including the points where it rests and how the pack is lifted.
Check the sample for lid contact, movement and removal. A presentation carton is not evidence of a tested carrying load or courier protection; define the handling route and any outer shipping pack separately.
Describe Temperature, Moisture and Contact
State whether the pie is packed warm or cooled and describe its intended storage and transport conditions. Identify any liner, wrapping, tray or direct contact with the carton.
Request the material specification and relevant supporting documents for that use. Do not infer heat resistance, grease performance, food-contact suitability or freshness from the product name or appearance.
Confirm the Format, Artwork and Quotation
The gallery contains ribbon-tied polygonal packs and rectangular printed cartons. These are design references rather than confirmed pie capacities or proof of a specified material or production process.
Provide the required format, filled-dish dimensions, quantity, artwork files, packing method, destination and required date. Agree the sample checks, proposed materials, minimum order and production schedule after the project specification is reviewed.
