Prepare cake boxes with handle around cake-board fit, lid clearance and carrying checks. Send Eastpkg® the finished product measurements and packing conditions so the proposed construction can be reviewed with a fitted sample.
Measure the Cake and Its Board
Provide the cake-board diameter or length and width, the finished cake height and the packed weight. Include decorations, toppers and the clearance needed when lowering the cake into the box. Base the usable internal dimensions on the complete arrangement rather than the cake diameter alone.
Review the Base and Handle Together
Show how the base closes, how the cake board is supported and how the handle is attached or formed. Agree a carrying trial with the actual packed weight and intended handling conditions. Do not treat a handle illustration as a load rating or as evidence that the base will remain secure.
Specify Food Contact and Service Conditions
Identify whether food touches the box directly or sits on a separate board, liner or primary container. State the intended storage and serving conditions and request documents for the proposed materials, inks, adhesives and other relevant components. Confirm suitability for the actual use; the generic term food-grade is not a project specification.
Check Filling and Customer Handling
Review assembly, cake insertion, lid closure and removal with the packing team. Check clearance around decorations and how the packed box is carried and placed down. Confirm any delivery-carton or restraint needs separately; a takeaway handle does not establish parcel-shipping protection.
Prepare the Quotation Brief
Send the product and support dimensions, quantity per design, packed weight, artwork, destination and required delivery date. Include the intended food-contact arrangement, storage and handling conditions, and any documents or tests you require. Confirm the sample scope, minimum order, fees and production schedule in the quotation.
