Description
Prepare a cosmetic box specification around the filled bottle, jar, tube or compact and its intended retail presentation.
Measure the product as supplied
Give the complete dimensions and filled weight, including caps, pumps, droppers and protruding features. Identify the display orientation and any inner pack that stays around the product. For a range of sizes, list each SKU separately rather than assuming one box will fit all.
Review the proposed sample
Check product loading, removal clearance and closure movement in the sample. Review artwork placement, small text and the agreed finish reference. Record the approved drawing and artwork version for each order line.
Materials and order requirements
Identify any contact between the cosmetic formula and the proposed packaging components. Request the relevant material documentation for the intended use. Certification, recycled-content and disposal claims require evidence for the complete construction, including inks, coatings, adhesives and inserts.
