Create a skincare packaging specification by product format

Skincare ranges can include bottles, jars and tubes with different packing needs. Give Eastpkg® a format list and the filled dimensions for each item so box size, artwork and packing requirements can be compared across the range.

Measure each primary container

Include the fitted cap, pump or other closure in the maximum dimensions. Record filled weight, packing orientation and any surface that should avoid rubbing.

For a shared pack size, identify the largest dimensions and any format-specific insert. Do not assume that containers with the same stated volume have the same external shape.

Match the pack to its intended use

State whether the request is for a retail carton, a presentation box or another outer packaging format. Describe the opening method, shelf position and space for product information.

Ask for construction options against the brief. The outer packaging specification is separate from the primary container and any assessment of formula compatibility.

Prepare artwork and fit approval

Supply artwork files and a version list for the range. Confirm the proposed layout and panel dimensions before finalising artwork.

Check loading, closure clearance and removal using representative filled products. Keep a record of the approved construction and artwork for each distinct size.

Make quotations comparable

Provide quantities by product, destination, required date and packing method. List inserts, labels or leaflets and identify any customer-supplied parts.

Confirm the proposed minimum order, sample steps and schedule. If a material or environmental claim is required, request evidence for the complete specified pack rather than relying on its appearance.
