New Custom Tea Box

Description

Develop a custom tea presentation box around the sealed tea packs it will contain. For a new product launch, start with the pack dimensions, assortment and retail display needs before deciding on decorative finishes.

Plan the assortment and opening

List each pouch, tin or individually wrapped tea bag, including its filled dimensions and quantity per box. If the set includes an infuser or other accessory, supply its dimensions and weight too. A compartment plan should make each item easy to identify and remove.

Compare a lift-off lid with a hinged or magnetic presentation format. For a magnetic design, review the opening force and how the lid sits when closed. Do not treat a magnetic closure as evidence of an airtight seal or a specified shelf life.

Separate presentation from primary packaging

State whether the outer box will hold sealed packs or have direct contact with tea. For direct-contact components, request documentation for the proposed board, liners, inks, adhesives and coatings in the intended market. Specify any required aroma or moisture performance and agree how it will be assessed.

If recycled content, certification or recyclability matters to the brief, identify the required evidence for the complete construction, including inserts and closures.

Review a sample before the order

• Check filled packs against the internal dimensions and compartment layout.
• Review lid alignment, opening clearance, insert removal and assembly steps.
• Compare the artwork proof and agreed finish reference, including small text and foil registration where applicable.
• Agree the shipping carton, pack-out and acceptance checks for the intended distribution route.

Include the number of tea varieties, packs per set, assembled box size, preferred structure and finish reference. Use the tea packaging guide or compare rigid box formats.
