Plan a Tea Packaging Brief

Start with the tea format: loose leaf, sachets or individually wrapped portions. Share the filled pack dimensions, weight, quantity and destination. State whether the outer box will hold a sealed pouch, tin or another primary pack. The outer presentation box and the food-contact barrier serve different purposes.

Compare Structure and Filling

Discuss a folding carton, paper tube or presentation box against the product size and packing process. Check opening access, headroom, label space and how the filled primary pack will sit inside. For gift sets, include the dimensions and weights of every item and explain whether an insert is needed.

Explore folding paper boxes and paper tubes as starting points for a structure discussion. Confirm the final construction with a sample rather than relying on a product image.

Separate Presentation from Barrier Requirements

Explain the intended shelf life, storage conditions and any aroma, moisture or light-protection requirements. Ask which component provides the required barrier and what material documents or tests support it. Do not assume a decorative paper box provides a food-safe seal or a specified shelf life.

Prepare the Quote and Sample Review

Provide the artwork status, required text, quantity, destination and target date. Review product fit, opening, print alignment and any proposed insert against the agreed sample. Confirm the material specification, sample scope and schedule for the project.

Send your tea packaging requirements with dimensions and photos of the primary pack.
