Specify a mailing tube around the actual rolled item, its protective wrap and the closure arrangement required for the intended route.
Define the usable diameter and length
Provide the rolled item’s outer diameter and length, then identify the space needed for wrapping and removal. Mark the usable internal length after end-closure insertion. State the filled weight and whether the contents may be rolled; work that must remain flat needs a different pack brief.
Review the proposed sample
- Load the actual rolled contents and check removal without damage.
- Review the end-cap fit and any retention or sealing requirement.
- Confirm carrier and destination acceptance and agree handling checks for the complete packed tube.
Materials and quotation requirements
Record the proposed wall, liner, lid and insert materials with the artwork and sample reference. Request evidence for any specified certification, recycled content, food-contact arrangement or disposal claim, considering the complete construction and intended use.
