Window Rigid Boxes

Plan the Window and Product Position Together

A window rigid box includes an opening through which the product can be viewed. The brief should state whether that opening is uncovered or uses a separate transparent component. Its position, dimensions and material should be agreed for the proposed structure.

Prepare Dimensions and Construction Details

Provide the product dimensions and show the part that must remain visible. Mark the opening location on the lid or panel, with the surrounding border and artwork area. Explain how an insert will position the product behind the window. Ask which board, window component and adhesive are proposed.

Review the Physical Sample

Check the product view, cutout alignment, edges and attachment areas. Review how the window surface looks under the intended lighting and after the agreed handling checks. Do not assume scratch resistance, UV resistance, biodegradability or food-contact suitability from transparency or material appearance.

Confirm Materials and Artwork

Request the specification for the board, wrap, coatings, adhesives and any insert or window. Material certifications and environmental statements need documents relevant to the proposed pack; they cannot be established from an image or a paper appearance.

Provide the artwork version, color references and marked areas for proposed finishes. Agree on the print and finish sample needed for approval, including small text and alignment at the final size.

Prepare the Quotation Brief

Send the product dimensions, pack quantity, destination, artwork status and required date. Ask for the project-specific sample scope, minimum order, production schedule, packing method and cost components. Confirm these before placing an order.
