Description
New Design Chocolate Box: From Concept Brief to Approved Sample
For a new chocolate-box project, separate the design idea from the approved production specification. Start with the assortment, primary wrapping and intended opening sequence. Record what changes from the current pack and which requirements the new concept must satisfy.
Define the Design Task
Provide piece dimensions, count, filled weight and the proposed tray arrangement. Describe the packing workflow and the customer’s access to the contents. Mark any limitation in the current pack that the new design should address.
Show the required opening method on a drawing or reference. Confirm the proposed construction and components with the supplier; a concept image is not a tested structure or an available production option.
Review Fit Before Decorative Details
Use representative wrapped units to assess the insert, usable dimensions, lid clearance and removal. Agree checks for movement, closure and handling with the intended assortment.
If a closure, window, ribbon or additional layer is proposed, identify its purpose and approval criteria. Keep any primary barrier or shipping protection separate from the presentation concept.
Control the Prototype and Artwork Versions
Give each drawing, artwork file and sample an identifiable version. Record the agreed dimensions, material specification, printing references and proposed finishes. List unresolved changes before moving to the next approval stage.
Describe direct contact and storage requirements, and request relevant component documents. Do not treat a rendered design, a magnet specification or a material name as proof of food-contact suitability or performance.
Confirm the Production Brief
Share quantity by version, artwork readiness, packing responsibilities, destination and required date. Ask the quotation to identify included components, sample scope, minimum order and the proposed approval and production schedule.
Approve changes against the recorded sample and specification. A revised assortment, tray or artwork may require another review; avoid carrying an earlier approval over to a changed pack.
The gallery shows a dark presentation box with a red ribbon and a fitted chocolate arrangement. It is a design reference, not proof of the proposed closure, materials, production process or protection performance.
