Description

A 4-pack beverage carrier box needs to be specified around four filled containers, their combined weight and the way the pack will be carried. It is a different task from a rigid liquor gift box or a parcel shipper. Confirm the carrier construction and the relevant checks before approving it for use.

Eastpkg® combines production and supply chain management for B2B packaging projects. Share the actual bottles or cans, carrying requirements and artwork to discuss a proposed specification. “Eco-friendly” in a catalogue name does not establish material composition or an environmental result.

Provide the Filled Container Dimensions

Record the maximum diameter or width, overall height and filled weight of each bottle or can. Include shoulders, caps and any shape changes that affect the holding points. State whether all four containers are identical and provide dimensions for each variation.

Define the arrangement, clearance between containers and how they are inserted and removed. Do not assume that a nominal beverage volume identifies the container size or that one carrier fits every bottle or can of that volume.

Review the Base, Dividers and Handle

  • Base: review how the proposed structure supports the filled pack and how it is assembled.
  • Holding points: check where the carrier contacts each container and whether the shape allows unwanted movement.
  • Dividers: discuss any separation needed between containers; an image alone does not prove that bottles cannot touch.
  • Handle: review the opening, reinforcement, grip and the intended carrying task with the actual loaded pack.
  • Assembly: confirm folds, tabs, locking details and any adhesive or other joining components.

Agree the load and handling checks for the proposed materials. A visual mockup or a “sturdy” description does not establish a safe carrying load or resistance to damage.

Specify the Actual Use Conditions

Explain whether the pack will be used for retail pickup, takeaway, gifting or another task. Identify relevant storage conditions, expected carrying duration and whether containers may be wet or cold. Material suitability under those conditions requires review; paper appearance does not establish moisture resistance.

If the order will travel through a parcel network, specify the separate transport pack and assessment requirements. A carry handle does not make the carrier a verified shipping container.

Document Materials and Artwork

Confirm the board, printed layers, coating, adhesive and other components. For recycled-content or certification requirements, request evidence with the correct scope and permissions. Assess any recyclability or biodegradability wording for the complete pack and stated conditions, rather than assuming it from kraft appearance.

Review artwork orientation, fold and cut lines, handle openings, barcode placement and colour reference on the agreed dieline. Include any selected finish in the sample and material review.

Agree the Sample and Quotation

Use representative filled containers to review fit, assembly, carrying and removal against the agreed acceptance criteria. Record differences between the sample and proposed production construction.

Send your four-pack carrier brief with container dimensions, filled weights, quantity, destination, artwork status and required material documents. Confirm minimum order, sample charges, timing, packing and delivery responsibilities in the quotation.

Use the materials and claims checklist before approving environmental wording.
