Description
Plan a rigid paper tube around the filled product dimensions, the usable internal space and the preferred lid arrangement.
Specify the profile and closure
Provide the product diameter or widest cross-section, overall height and filled weight. Distinguish usable internal height from the external pack height, including lid overlap and any inner support. Mark the opening end and the proposed lid or shoulder detail on the drawing.
Review the proposed sample
- Insert and remove the intended product in a fit sample.
- Review lid clearance, overlap and opening force against the agreed reference.
- Check the proposed wall, base and insert construction for the intended pack-out.
Materials and quotation requirements
Record the proposed wall, liner, lid and insert materials with the artwork and sample reference. Request evidence for any specified certification, recycled content, food-contact arrangement or disposal claim, considering the complete construction and intended use.
