Specify skincare boxes around the filled container
A skincare box brief starts with the bottle, jar or tube that will actually be packed. Share the filled container dimensions, weight and closure details with Eastpkg® so the outer box and any insert can be discussed together.
Measure caps, pumps and collars
Provide the maximum external dimensions with the closure fitted, including any pump, overcap, shoulder or projecting collar. State whether the product must stand upright and identify surfaces that should not rub against the insert.
For a range of products, list each container separately. A shared outer size may simplify the range, but the cavity and clearance still need to match each item.
Separate the outer box from the primary pack
State whether the request covers a single retail unit, a presentation set or a shipping arrangement. Include the preferred opening style, shelf orientation and any leaflet or accessory that needs space.
The outer box brief does not establish formula compatibility, a moisture barrier or shelf life. Identify any product-specific documentation or assessment your team needs before approving the complete pack.
Check fit with representative filled units
Use a representative filled container to assess insertion, removal, clearance around the closure and the position of the printed panel. Agree the sample specification and record changes before approving the order.
If transport protection matters, describe the packed unit, outer carton and distribution route. Agree suitable checks for that arrangement rather than treating a presentation box alone as proof of shipping performance.
Build a comparable quotation brief
Send quantities by SKU, artwork versions, target market, delivery destination and the required date. Include dimensions, proposed materials, insert requirements and the scope of any requested material evidence.
Ask the quotation to distinguish samples, tooling, packaging components, assembly and freight where applicable. Confirm minimum order and schedule against the agreed specification.
